Fluid II 3274 is a water displacement liquid with good corrosion-protection properties. It is particularly suitable for parts where only a thin corrosion-protection film is needed for indoor storage.
Fluid II 3274 is free of chlorinated hydrocarbons and is delivered ready for use.

Delivery: Ready for use in 10 l and 20 l plastic canisters or in 200 l plastic barrels.

Application: Immersion process, cold. Workpieces with water on their surfaces are immersed in Fluid II 3274. This displaces the film of water. After removal from the bath, the workpieces are coated with a thin rust-protection film.
The water displaced from the workpieces accumulates at the bottom of the tank containing the bath. It separates well from the bath liquid and should be drained of from time to time. This can be done with the aid of a drain valve at the lowest point in the tank. This method can also be used to remove rinsing water containing chemicals from a preceding post-treatment bath. Even water-soluble contamination can be removed from the bath by rinsing out with additional water. If this is done correctly, the bath has a very long useful lifetime.
