The spotting paste (also called "Prussian blue") is used to locate protrusions on cylindrical and flat surfaces. This paste is used before / after grinding / finishing operations or to check surfaces and / or contact points in the case of assemblies (linear guides, sliding bearings, bearings, gears, internal combustion engine valves, tool closure check for plastic injection, etc.).
