Description
Reference Block Nr.2 (EN ISO 3452-3) – The Reference block 2 is made of stainless steel. The panel is rectangular in
shape. One side is divided into four areas with different surface roughnesses (Ra = 2.5 µm, 5 µm, 10 µm and 15 μm). The other side is hard chromium-plated. Five large star-like artificial crack centres were produced artificially by ball insertions with different pressing forces (diameter of crack centres: 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm and 5.5 mm).
Application
- Control of washability (interim cleaning) by using the rough areas
- Surveillance of testing by the user with help of the crack centres
